I wish I could welcome you in person. Wouldn’t that be fun? We could sit down, have a cup of coffee together, share a few laughs.
On the other hand, then I’d have to take a shower, move all the papers off the kitchen table, do something about the tumbleweed of dog hair on the floor and run out to get some scones and muffins—because you can’t come over for coffee without having something to eat.
Maybe this is a better idea after all.
